Warner Bros. Sales Materials

Agency l Eastwest, MG
Role l Creative Director
Client l Warner Bros.

Challenge:

Create an ownable graphic theme for all Warner Bros. presentation and sales materials.

Solution:

Warner Bros. sales and presentation materials needed one unifying graphic theme. Leveraging the "Warner Bros. clouds" which have appeared behind the WB Shield as early as 1936, was a natural choice. The cloud thematic spoke to the studio's heritage, married with the shield and cloud logo which Warner Bros. was using on TV and in theaters, and was certainly ownable as distinctly Warner Bros. The look was employed across all WB sales materials including brochures, presentation backgrounds, posters and sell sheets.

Legendary Pictures "The Tower Chronicles" First-Person Awareness Brochure

Agency l Bonfire Agency
Role l Creative Director
Client l Legendary Pictures

Challenge:

Gain awareness for Legendary Pictures first original graphic novel series.

Solution:

Who is John Tower? That's exactly what Bonfire Agency wanted comic shop owners to find out when charged with promoting Legendary Pictures first-ever graphic novel series. To gain awareness and generate excitement, a unique mailer was created that put the recipient in the role of a detective researching the Tower case. The sales kit was sent in an envelope marked "Top Secret" and when opened, created the first-person POV illusion of sitting behind a hard-boiled detective's desk. As the recipient looked over the "desk," they learned about the graphic novel's details through case files, photographs and handwritten notes scattered about the scene, immersing the reader into the storyline and action of The Tower Chronicles.
